The “Green Belarus” Alliance. “Green Belarus” is an alliance uniting organizations, initiatives, expert, academic, and local communities, as well as activists who share green values and a vision of a future Belarus as a green country. Our vision examines nearly every sphere of societal life through a green lens.
Our mission is to prepare the green transition for Belarus.
This path will enable Belarus to achieve true independence — energy, economic, and political — and lay the foundations for democracy, sustainable development, and social prosperity.
Green Belarus will be a place where cultural, ethnic, racial, sexual, religious, and spiritual diversity is valued, and where relationships based on respect for all people are fostered. It is possible as a country open to new ideas and people.
