A new educational webinar series focusing on the green transformation of the agricultural sector will examine how sustainable farming practices can build resilient food systems and mitigate environmental impacts.
The series explores the critical link between agricultural practices, climate change, biodiversity, and everyday quality of life. Participants will analyze the core principles of sustainable agriculture and explore strategies for establishing short food supply chains (“from farm to fork”) tailored for Belarus.
Anastasiya Slukina, an expert in sustainable food systems and environmental education, serves as the lead speaker for the series. She will outline the distinct roles that farmers, businesses, state institutions, and consumers play in shaping modern food infrastructure, drawing on practical case studies from Belarus and across Europe.
Joining the speaker lineup is international expert Lyubomyr Klepach, PhD in Agricultural Sciences (Ukraine), who will share practical insights on agricultural transformation based on regional experience in Ukraine and Belarus.
